Estate Planning · Riverside, California

A plan that protects the people you love.

Estate planning is simply deciding, in advance, who steps in and what happens if something happens to you. I help California families put that plan in place clearly, in language you can actually understand, and at a flat fee you’ll know up front.

What's in a plan

The documents that do the work.

Most plans are built from four core documents. We’ll decide together which ones fit your family, and I’ll explain exactly what each one does and why.

Living Trust

Holds your assets and passes them to the people you choose without probate, often saving your family time, cost, and a public court process. It also names who manages things if you can't.

Will

Directs who receives what, names guardians for minor children, and acts as a safety net for anything not held in your trust. A foundational document for every family.

Power of Attorney

Lets someone you trust handle financial and legal matters on your behalf if you're unable to, so your bills, accounts, and decisions don't grind to a halt.

Advance Health Care Directive

Names who speaks for your medical care and records your wishes, so your family isn't left guessing during a hard moment.

Who it's for

If you have people you love, you have a plan worth making.

You don’t need a large estate to need a plan. A home, savings, a small business, minor children, or simply clear wishes about your care are all reasons to plan. Estate planning keeps you in control and spares your family confusion later.

And if you’re not ready for a full plan today, that’s okay too. You’ll still leave our first conversation with a real path forward. A not-now is not a no.

How it works

From first conversation to signed plan.

STEP 01

Plan

We begin with a Peace of Mind Planning Session: we talk through your family and goals, and you get a flat-fee quote before any work starts.

STEP 02

Design

I design your plan around your wishes and walk you through each decision in plain language, so you understand what you’re signing and why.

STEP 03

Sign

We finalize and sign your documents together, and you leave with a complete, organized plan and clear next steps for your family.

Common questions

Estate planning, answered plainly.

Do I need a will or a living trust?

A will directs who receives what but generally goes through probate, a public court process that can take time and money. A living trust can help your family avoid probate, keep things private, and plan for incapacity. Which is right depends on your situation, and I’ll give you a clear recommendation in our planning session.

California has default rules that decide who inherits and who steps in if you can’t make decisions. They may not match your wishes, and they often mean more time and cost for your family. A plan simply lets you make those choices yourself, in advance.

I work on flat fees, so you’ll know the full cost before any work begins. The right plan depends on your family and goals, and we settle on it together during your Peace of Mind Planning Session. No hourly meter, no surprises.

Most families move from first conversation to signed documents in a few weeks, depending on the complexity of the plan and how quickly we gather what we need. We’ll set clear expectations at the start.

It’s worth a look if it’s been several years or your life has changed: a move, a marriage or divorce, a new child, a business, or a change in assets. We can review what you have and update only what needs it.

No. I’m based in Riverside and serve clients throughout California. Most of our meetings can be handled virtually, so we can work together wherever you are in the state, on a schedule that’s convenient for you.
